Introducing breakfast pizza, the breakfast that combines all the savory tastes we love about eggs and bacon with pizza's playful nature. Give it a go! You won't regret it.

What you need:

For the dough:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp. active dry yeast
  • 1 1/2 tsp. sea salt
  • 1 1/4 cup water

For the top:

  • 3 cups grated cheese, of your choosing (try parmesan or mozzarella)
  • 6 strips of bacon
  • 6 eggs
  • Sea salt & pepper
  • additional toppings of your choosing (try parsley, chopped bell peppers, or other common breakfast foods)

What you do:

In a large bowl, mix all of the dough ingredients together. Cover the bowl, and leave the dough at room temperature for 12 hours. (Alternatively, by pre-made pizza dough if you don't want to wait.) Once the dough is ready, divide it into halves and lightly flour before stretching each half onto a pizza stone or crisper (or a cookie sheet, if you don't have those). 

Sprinkle evenly with cheese and your toppings. Crack the eggs directly onto the top, keeping the yokes whole (3 eggs on each pizza). Bake in the oven at 450 degrees for 8-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the yokes are cooked to your liking. Let cool before serving. Enjoy!
