The pastry shell consists mostly of butter, egg yolk, flour and pure cane sugar, giving it a rich, buttery melt-in-your-mouth texture. The crust is rolled and molded into the perfect individual size miniature tart pieces, brushed slightly with beaten egg yolk then blind baked until golden in color. Blind baking, sometimes called pre-baking is the process of baking a pie crust or other pastry without the filling.
My velvety chocolate ganache is made by heating cream, then pouring it over chopped high quality dark chocolate. The mixture is stirred until smooth, creamy and shiny, resulting in a rich, velvety, earthy and intensely-flavored chocolate spread.
YOU WILL RECEIVE: 12 (twelve) of our caramel chocolate mini pies, each measuring approximately 3” diameter and 1 1/4” tall. Each mini pies will be individually wrapped in FDA food approved cello bags, sealed with our heat sealer and tucked snugly into the plastic pie container
